Ikea Store Sheffield

Remediation of an existing former heavy industrial site to provide the enabling works package for a new Ikea Superstore under a design & build contract. Works comprised the demolition & remediation of the existing buildings, bulk earthworks to re-profile the site, dealing with unforeseen subterranean ground conditions, processing of site won material to achieve BREEAM excellent rating, construction of reinforced concrete retaining structures & surface car parking together with all associated drainage & incoming statutory service provision.

Asda Walmart, Keighley – new build store

Industry Sector:
Following the demolition of an existing mill complex, we then undertook the enabling & remediation of the existing site including bulk earthworks & filling operations, groundworks on the new store construction & a complex S278 Highways package which comprised extensive off site highway works to upgrade the local infrastructure to accommodate the new store.

Sainsbury’s Store at Leek

This new build retail park constructed on a brown field site involved the remediation of a vast area of contaminated ground, new carriageway configuration a river diversion and associated structures plus the installation of a new drainage scheme including settlement ponds and overflow system. All of the new units required bespoke drainage and service installations with each end user having specific completion dates.
