Challenge

The project involved working closely with the client to meet their programme & cost constraints whilst operating around a live environment with constant interface with the staff and students of the college.

Approach

By building up a good relationship with our client we were able to discuss possible ways of value engineering the project to ensure that it completed within budget and on programme. Health and Safety was a massive concern for our client on this project due to the high level of staff & student interface. We talked our client through our Construction Phase H & S plan and showed the H & S safety measures which would be in place throughout the project. This was met with a positive response from our client and they were delighted with how the project progressed.

Solution

With our knowledge and experience we were able to ensure that we delivered a project that came in under budget, on programme and eliminated any Health and Safety concerns that our client had initially.
